ABSTRAK
The aim of this research is to find out the group who has higher reading skill, the group taught using two stay two stray or the one taught using student team achievement division.
The method used in this research is an experimental method in the form of comparative study. This research was conducted from May to June 2017 at the eight grade students of SMP Negeri 23 Surakarta which is located on Jl. Adi Sumarmo, Banyuanyar, Banjarsari, Kota Surakarta. The sample of this research was chosen by using cluster random sampling, the students of VIII-E as the experimental group and the students of VIII-F as the control group. The research instrument used to collect the data are analyzed by using t-test formula.
