× The purpose of this final project is to know the waiter’s activities that had connection with the usage of English and also to know what kind of mistakes that the waiters made when they used the English language. The discussion of this final project revealed several benefits about the usage of English by waiters and waitresses. And also about the condition of the usage of English by waiters at the Riyadi Palace Hotel and the strategies on how to increase the English use by waiters and waitresses. In the last chapter, the writer concludes that waiters or waitresses have some responsibility to deliver and serve food and beverage to the guests. And also they have to follow all the rules of the hotel. The condition of the used of English in the hotel is very concerning; there still a lot of mistakes that the Waiters did. The writer hopes that Riyadi Palace Hotel Solo can increase the service quality in order to get customer’s satisfaction and improve the English to communicate with foreign guests.
