Abstrak : This research is conducted to analyze the attitude’ effect of teaching professionals, comprehension of child development, creative thinking, and Assessment competence o n process skills of Primary School teachers in Kebumen, Central Java, 2003. The number of the sample is 160 students selected by a multistage random sampling. Data were analyzed by correlational methods and recursive of path analysis. The study reveals: (1) there is a direct attitude’ effect of teaching professional toward comprehension of child development, (2) there is a direct attitude’ effect of teaching professionals toward creative thinking, (3) there is a direct effect of child development comprehension toward creative thinking, (4) there is a direct attitude’ effect of teaching professionals toward Assessment o n competence of process skills, (5) there is an indirect effect of child development comprehension toward Assessment competence of process skills, (6) there is a direct effect of creative thinking toward Assessment competence of process skills.
