Distribution is a complex problem. In the distribution effort, it involves many factors, such as, determining the number, location and size of warehouse. o ne of the important factors in distribution problem is how to reach consumers with the possible lowest logistic cost.
In this paper, we study a single sourcing location problem in which we simultaneously consider opening some new facilities and closing some existing facilities. Motivation for this problem stem from applications where, as the growing of Dzakya’s bottled drinking water item cup distribution process, the distribution network has been inefficiency. o nething could make it happened is each consumer zones, which consist of several demand points, should be assigned exclusively to a single warehouse, in order to avoid, suich as the horizontaly–vertically conflict and high delivery costs (outbound transportation cost). The objective of distribution network destructuralization is determining number, location and distribution coverage of warehouse that could minimizing some logistic costs, both for company and for its distributors.
The best solution was achieved using heuristic approach by examining the best configuration network offering the least total logistic cost, in terms of delivery costs from warehouses to consumers, operating and storage costs at the warehouses and transportation costs from plant to warehouses. The intended application in this testing is that of locating distributors’ warehouses at existing facilities or relocating some existing facilities to some new facilities or adding some new facilities into the ‘new’ distribution network. The new location facilities, in this paper, are determined, which is goverment markets for reasonableness
