Thesis, English Education Department, Faculty Teacher and Education, Sebelas Maret University June 2026.      This study explores the dual perspectives of teacher and students regarding the quality of gamification of assessment platforms, specifically Quizizz, within the English language learning environment at a vocational high school. Framed around two primary research questions, this study aims to analyze teacher perceptions regarding the quality of digital quizzes and to examine students' attitudes toward its practical implementation in secondary language evaluation. The methodology of this research was conducted through a qualitative single case study design at SMK Leonardo Klaten. The primary data sources involved one English teacher and five vocational high school students who were actively engaged in English classes using the platform. Techniques of data collection were strictly established through triangulation, employing in-depth semi-structured interviews, non-participant classroom observations. The research findings indicate that both teacher and students perceive Quizizz as a highly enhanced Formative Assessment (Assessment for Learning) tool. It meets the principle of practicality by streamlining administrative burdens through automated data analytics and sparks positive washback by reducing test anxiety, shifting students' mindsets toward a healthy, visually engaging competitive drive on the leaderboard. Based on these findings, it is recommended that English teachers enforce structural security measures, such as question-shuffling and activating focus browser modes, while school administrators must optimize classroom bandwidth allocation to prevent latency and maintain equitable test administration.
