Paddy (Oryza sativa L.) is a staple food crop for Indonesians. Increasing rice productivity can be achieved through the implementation of healthy cultivation practices. Healthy cultivation practices not only focus on maximizing yields but also consider environmental aspects, especially in controlling pests and diseases in rice, such as the rice bug. This study aimed to analyze the effect of implementing healthy cultivation practices on rice bug attacks and paddy growth and yield. The study was conducted in Gatak Village, Delanggu District, Klaten Regency from September 2025 to January 2026. The method used was a single-plot design with two experimental fields: healthy cultivation and conventional cultivation. Healthy cultivation practices used a combination of urea, phonska, Liquid Organic Fertilizer, and biological control, while conventional cultivation practices used synthetic chemical inputs, namely urea, phonska, and chemical pesticides. Data were analyzed using a T-test with a 5% significance level. The results showed that healthy cultivation practices significantly increased plant height, number of tillers, dry harvested grain, dry milled grain, number of grains per panicle, and 1000-seed weight, but did not significantly reduce the population of rice bug and the intensity of rice bug attacks.
