Ballerina Audina Renata, 2026. Translating a book chapter titled English for Agribusiness at Pro Translasi, Malang. English Diploma Program, Vocational School, Universitas Sebelas Maret.  This internship report documents the implementation of my Kuliah Magang Mahasiswa program, which I conducted offline at Pro Translasi, Malang, for two months, from January 12 to March 6, 2026. This program aims to equip me with practical language skills, particularly in the fields of translation and interpretation, so that I am ready to compete in the professional world. My main activities carried out during the internship focused on translating texts from chapters 3 and 14 of the book titled English for Agribusiness, which consists of 1,334 words. During the translation process, I encountered specialized terms in the agricultural fields, such as “agriculture farmers, Good Farming Practices, Good Handling Practices, Good Distribution Practices, TBT (technical Barriers to Trade), SPS (Sanitary and Phytosanitary), country agents, and marketing and sales initiatives.” To address these challenges and make an accurate translation, I applied the translation theory by Nida and Taber’s Theory (1969), which encompasses three main stages: analyzing, transferring, and restructuring. In addition to these primary tasks, I was also involved in additional activities, such as: 1) translating abstracts, children’s stories, a manual book, and game dialogues; 2) writing a book titled Crisis of Beginning; and 3) serving as part of the organizing team for a professional language industry webinar. The internship at Pro Translasi successfully expanded my knowledge of technical terminology, developed my research skills, and provided a strong practical foundation for students before entering the real working world.
