The report was written based on the internship program conducted at Rumah Budaya Kratonan. The program was held from January 27th to March 31st, 2026. The main output of the internship was a short video for the Historical Gallery at Rumah Budaya Kratonan. This internship consisted of three stages, namely video preproduction stage, video production stage, and video postproduction stage. In those three stages, I collecting footages, writing the script, translating the script from Indonesian into English, recording the voice-over, editing the video, and adding Indonesian subtitles. In addition to the main activity, I also participated in several activities, including being part of RBK's social media team as a content writer, video editor, and on-screen talent, also creating closed captions for the RBK company profile video. In translating the video script, I applied the translation process proposed by Nida and Taber (1982), consisting of analysis, transfer, and restructuring. This report also discusses the translation of three selected cultural terms that I found on the script using the translation method proposed by Nida and Taber to produce natural and accurate translations. During the internship I faced some challenges, including limited references for translating cultural terms or while looking for the suitable footages. These problems can be solved by looking up more details about the meanings of those terms and then finding footage from non-copyrighted sources. Through this internship, I improved my translation competence, audiovisual translation skills, content production abilities, and understanding of cultural heritage promotion in a professional working environment.
