Nasutitermes sp. is believed to be one of the reasons for the cashew low productivity. An effective pest control method is needed to reduce the termite population. This research aims to examine the effects of briquette baits with 3 different active ingredients on termite population and determine the most effective pest control method. The research was conducted from June to September 2022 on cashew farms in Ngadirojo Subdistrict, Wonogiri Regency, Central Java. The research used 3 pest control methods: briquettes-shaped baits that contain chitin synthesis inhibitor Hexaflurmuron 0,5%, synthetic organic insecticides, and entomopathogenic fungus Metarhizium spp. The observation focused on the effects of 3 types of baits on termite population, termite caste population, and baits’ weight reduction. The data were taken from termite wood tunnels in 9 cashew trees, all from the main trunks, limbs, branches, and twigs. The population data is presented with histograms and tables and analyzed with T-test. The result showed that Metarhizium baits had the highest population decline and the highest bait weight reduction, and two termite castes that were found were soldiers and workers.
