Documentaries are recordings of actual events without imaginative interpretations but with creative thoughts from creators so that they can present interesting documentaries. One type of documentary is expository documentary, which is a form of documentary that displays messages to the audience directly through a presenter or narration in the form of text or sound. Both media speak in the third person to the audience (there is an awareness that they are dealing with the audience). Presenting reality and facts about one's life struggle. This documentary work is entitled "IMPERFECT" because in this expository documentary work the author wants to describe the story of the struggle for life and the spirit of rising from adversity due to the physical imperfections of persons with disabilities with the existence of the Disability Friendly Village of Birit. This documentary work is produced through three stages, namely pre-production, production, and post- production. The author as a producer believes that the key to the success of all stages of production is good and orderly production management, as well as planning of all possibilities that can occur in the field. The author hopes that through this work, the message to be conveyed through the concept that has been designed can be conveyed and accepted by the community.
