This internship report is written based on the internship activity conducted at Anak Hebat Indonesia Publisher from January 16, 2023 to April 15, 2023. This final report aims to describe my three-month offline internship activities at Anak Hebat Indonesia Publisher. In Anak Hebat Indonesia Publiher, I did my internship as an English-Indonesian translator. I got an appointment to translate a fiction novel entitled The Secret Garden by Frances Hodgson Burnett published in 1911. This novel used a lot of old English language such as, Yorkshire. In completing the project, I did three stages of translation proces. They are reading and analysing, translating process and restructuring. While translating, I encountered three language problems related to 1) Indian English and Yorkshire language, 2) idiom and language styles, and 3) rhyming song lyrics. In solving the translation problems, I did some research to get the meaning of the sentence or words and then translated it by looking for the meaning equivalence of the sentence or words. The result of research showed that to translate the three language problems must understand the context in the sentence. After the translation process was complete, there was a restructuring process that helped me review the translation results to check the acceptability of the sentences.
