The problems of english learning and teaching in fourth grade students of SDN 03 Kwangsan, Jumapolo, Karanganyar

ABSTRAK This final project report was written based on the job training done by the writer as an English teacher in SDN 03 Kwangsan, Jumapolo, Karanganyar. The purposes were to describe the problems faced by the students and the teacher during English learning and teaching process and to describe the solution for those problems. During the job training, the writer took some activities such as observation in the class and taught the English lesson. In class observation, the writer observed the condition of the class included the students’ condition and the course of learning and teaching process. To make the teaching and learning process and the materials structured well, the writer made lesson plan. For each lesson plan, the writer included the theme, topic, duration, objectives and skill. In teaching process the writer used teaching steps like BKOF, modeling, joint construction, independent construction and closing. There were some problems faced both by the students and teacher. The problems consisted of problems of the students, teacher, materials, facilities and environment. The writer also presented the solution to solve those problems.
