PLTA PB. Soedirman is one of the generating units of PT Indonesia Power Mrica PGU, which is located in Bawang District, Banjarnegara Regency, Central Java. In the PLTA PB. Sudirman area, there is a population of long-tailed monkeys (Macaca fascicularis). The long-tailed monkey (Macaca fascicularis) is a type of primate with an endangered or endangered conservation status. The purpose of this study was to determine the population and habitat conditions of long-tailed monkeys (Macaca fascicularis) in the PLTA PB. Soedirman area.
Long-tailed macaque population data collection in the form of the number of individuals, age structure, and sex ratio was carried out using a concentrated method. Population observations were made at a predetermined location and time. The collection of vegetation data at the research location was carried out using the plot method by means of purposive sampling. Data collection on the type of feed was carried out by recording the types of plants and plant parts eaten by long-tailed monkeys. Data in the form of population density, important value index, age structure, sex ratio, and type of feed were analyzed descriptively.
