This research focuses on the Television Series Electric Dreams, which depicts a panopticon-like society. It offers a semiotic examination of three Electric Dreams episodes: The Hood Maker, Safe and Sound, and Kill All Others. The objective is to explore the representation of panopticon metaphor and power in a panopticon-like society and its consequences in living in such a place. According to Foucault, a framework resembling Jeremy Bentham's Panopticon concept is essential for guiding societal conduct. This research argues that in a panopticon-like society, certain parties' surveillance, control, and power play a significant role in perpetuating the system. The consequences of living in such a society vary from individual to societal level, primarily resulting in destructive outcomes as the episodes portrayed intrusive surveillance and control.
