This research explores students’ behavioral engagement with AWE (Automated Writing Evaluation) when revising their writing draft. This research aims to know how the students get behaviorally engaged with AWE. This case study was conducted using qualitative approach and the data in this research were collected by using questionnaire, interview and observation. The participants of this research were 6 students who took a writing class and were asked to write an article in the end of the class. The findings of this research show that the students were score-oriented and used AWE as grammar correction, not as a source of learning. They mostly used the feedback directly without checking the elaboration of the feedbacks and did not have any strategies to improve their writing quality. In addition, the result also shows that they only spent little time during revision. From these results, it can be said that they have a low behavioral engagement with AWE.
