Abstract
Backgrounds : Breast cancer has become the most common type of cancer with an incidence rate of 12% every year worldwide. It is estimated that there will be about 2.3 million new cases of breast cancer by 2020, which covers about 11.7% of the total cancer cases, according to data from the World Health Organization (WHO). The Covid 19 pandemic causes a delay in early detection of breast cancer patients, patients who come to self-examination have entered advanced or terminal stages.
Methods : The study consists of two parts : a validity test and a reliability test. The validity section of the study includes transcultural validation performed using statistical analysis. Reliability studies using a test-retest method within 24-48 hours to measure the reliability of questionnaires (UNS-BC38).
Results : The majority of the subjects of this study were women (100%) with advanced education (50,2%). The age group of 46-60 years was the largest (53.2%), with an average age of respondents 50.9 years. The majority were housewives (53,5%). From the validity test of this study it is known that all survey questionnaires have r count > r table 0,098 and a significance value or p value < 0>
Conclusions : Establishing a valid and reliable questionnaire instrument (UNS-BC38) can be accepted by all breast cancer patients in Indonesia, the instrument is suitable and can be used for research in breast cancer patient Indonesia.
