The promotion of wellbeing in an educational context has gained significant traction in recent times, especially in the relationship between students and teachers. As telecollaboration becomes one of the activities to facilitate students’ intercultural learning through online contact, the relationship inside the activities needs to be examined. This study intends to scrutinize the pre-service teacher’s experiences of relationships as part of wellbeing in participating in intercultural thematic-telecollaboration together with investigating the impact of the relationships experienced on the pre-service teacher’s future career. By adopting an autobiographical narrative inquiry, the researcher encourages herself as a pre-service teacher to in-depth reflect on the aspects of her relationship experiences in intercultural thematic-telecollaboration. The data were collected through the pre-service teacher’s diary and artifacts were in the form of photos during the program. The findings revealed that the pre-service teacher had experienced all the aspects of relationships in positive and negative ways, and it impacted the expectations of her future career. This study has future implications for pre-service or in-service EFL teachers and directions for future research to develop this study with more than one participant.
