Perbedaan Pengaruh Penggunaan Metode Jigsaw Dan Problem Solving Terhadap Prestasi Belajar Ips Ditinjau Dari Motivasi Berprestasi Pada Siswa Kelas V Sd Gugus Ra Kartini Uptd Pendidikan Kecamatan Gunungpati Semarang

The aims of this research are to find out: (1) the difference of effect between the Jigsaw learning method and the problem solving learning method on the learning achievement in Social Science of the fifth grade students of Primary School of Gugus RA Kartini UPTD Pendidikan, Gunungpati Sub-district, Semarang; (2) the difference of effect between the high learning motivation and the low learning motivation of the learning achievement in Social Science of the fifth grade students of Primary School of Gugus RA Kartini UPTD Pendidikan, Gunungpati sub-district, Semarang; and (3) the interaction of effect of the learning method and learning motivation on the learning achievement in Social Science of the fifth grade students of Primary School of Gugus RA Kartini UPTD Pendidikan, Gunungpati sub-district, Semarang. This research was conducted at Primary School of Gugus RA Kartini UPTD Pendidikan, Gunungpati sub-district, Semarang. Its population was all of 146 fifth grade students of Primary School of Gugus RA Kartini UPTD Pendidikan, Gunungpati sub-district Semarang. They were from 4 different classes. Its samples consisted of 85 students. They divided into 2 group. Group 1 consisted of 39 students, and was exposed to the jigsaw learning method. Group 2 consisted of 46 students and was exposed to problem solving learning method. The pre-requisite test of the research used the normality test and the homogeneity test. The data of the research were analyzed by using a two-way Analysis of Variance. Based on the results of the analysis, conclusions are drawn as follows: (1) there is a significant difference of effect between the jigsaw learning method and the problem solving method on the learning achievement in Social Science of the fifth grade students of Primary School of Gugus RA Kartini UPTD Pendidikan, Gunungpati sub-district Semarang; (2) there is a significant difference of effect between the high learning motivation and the low learning motivation on the learning achievement in Social Science of the fifth grade students of Primary School of Gugus RA Kartini UPTD Pendidikan, Gunungpati sub-district Semarang; and (3) the interaction of effect of the learning methods and learning motivation on the learning achievement in Social Science of the fifth grade students of Primary School of Gugus RA Kartini UPTD Pendidikan, Gunungpati sub-district Semarang.
