This internship report was written based on the Student Internship Program (KMM) conducted
from February 5th to March 28th, 2022, at Nava Hotel Tawangmangu. This report details an
internship completed at Nava Hotel Tawangmangu from February 5th to March 28th, 2024, as
part of the Student Internship Program. This report is intended to fulfill the requirement to be
eligible to graduate from the English Diploma Program. The report outlines the creation of
English captions for the hotel's Instagram account, focusing on the role of a content creator
from the marketing communication department. Lewis' AIDA technique (1878) was
employed to ensure branding effectiveness and efficiency in these captions, aiming to increase
brand awareness among potential customers. I began by researching the hotel's Instagram
follower demographics and other hotels to craft targeted captions. To conduct this research, I
analyzed the Instagram profiles of Nava Hotel Tawangmangu's followers focused on
identifying their interests and average age. I also analyzed other Instagram hotel’s content on
their page focused on identifying the right usage of words. The use of words in creating
captions using persuasive sentences. I encountered challenges in selecting the most suitable
words aligned with marketing copywriting principles and the hotel's brand image while
crafting captions for Nava Hotel Tawangmangu's Instagram content. I utilized monolingual
and bilingual dictionaries to ensure I chose the most precise and effective vocabulary to
overcome these hurdles. The internship significantly enhanced my copywriting skills and
aligned with the curriculum of the English Diploma Program. My recommendation for the
following internship at Nava Hotel is to take a job desk related to translation.
