ABSTRACT STUDY NATURE OF OPTIC OF GLASS FILM LLUMAR PRODUCT IN UV – VIS AREA By Nina Khozinaturrohmah M 0201039 Have been done by research about study nature of optic of glass film Llumar product in UV-VIS area by using appliance of Spectrophotometer of UV-VIS Double Beam Shimadzu 1601 PC to know the nature of optic exist in glass of the film. So that can function to protect window pane of car from ray UV-VIS. Substrat of glass used in this research is Borosilicate glass and some type of sampel of glass film. Nature of optic studied this research is thick, refractive index, transmitance and absorbance from sampel and also substrat. And also studied also influence of bandgap energy to nature of above mentioned optic. The result of research obtained that substrat of glass arranged in layers glass of film own very small energi bandgap because existence the film of glass able to minimize transmitansi so that light is more amount permeated. Friction of UV Edge of spectrum transmitance along causing degradation of bandgap energy is lower and the friction of wavelength area of UV-VIS progressively growing larger.
