This report describes the activities during my internship program at koneksi indonesia inklusif, henceforth KONEKIN. KONEKIN is a social start-up established to encourage an inclusive ecosystem in Indonesia through information dissemination, increasing the participation of people with disabilities in public spaces, and creating cross-sector collaboration. With the spirit of KONEKIN and the desire to improve my soft and hard skills, I chose KONEKIN as place to conduct my internship activity. The internship program started on January 15, 2024. During my internship, I did not only improved my hard skills in translation but I also developed my soft skills. I worked on several translation projects, including translating KONEKIN's Recruitment Guideline. In working on my translation project, I applied the translation theory Nida & Taber (1969), which states that there are three stages of translation (analyzing, transferring, and restructuring). In addition, I carried out my additional activities to help KONEKIN conduct the event. While translating KONEKIN's Recruitment Guide text, I encountered problems with the translation terms. To solve the problems, I searched for the word's meaning in the law.com dictionary and online KBBI VI. I also used the literal, borrowing, reduction, and description translation strategies proposed by Molina & Albir (2002). This internship program benefited me greatly because I could improve my translation and soft skills, such as teamwork and communication skills. Participating in the Student Internship program provided many benefits, especially in preparing myself to work in a social company.
