The Javanese Community, in general, is included in the group in emphasizing "feeling, opinion". When they communicate with other people, especially with those who ore not yet acquainted and having from different certain social status they always put the effect of feeling into their consideration. Thus, in giving instruction to other people, whether the expression woudld offend their feeling or not, would be considered. This is an effort to keep and harmonize the social statement by minimizing an open social and personal conflict whatever situasion. There are sorts of instructional discourse, like (1) instructive discourse, (2) asking discourse, (3) inviting discourse, (4) challenge discourse, (5) persuading discourse, (6) message sending discourse, and (7) forbidding discourse. The result of this study is hopefull useful in the effort to keep effective communication.
