This final internship report is written based on the internship program activities at Whatravel, a big and famous travel agency located in Bandung and Jakarta. The internship was held online and ran from February 1st to April 30th, 2024. The primary focus of this final report is to produce a tr avel promotional article about North Korea. I have also involved in a systematic process of writing this travel promotion al article consisting of five stages preparing, organizing, writing, editing, and reviewing. In the process of writing the article, I use three strategies, such as storytelling approaches, emotional appeal strategy, and the call to action technique. I en countered two problems when completing the task. First, in the preparing stage, I faced issues in finding descriptions for natural tourist destinations in North Korea. To resolve this, I extensively researched information online. Second, in the editing sta ge, I encountered difficulties in using appropriate adjectives for North Korea. So, I read a few sources about it and found the appropriate words for the target readers. After all the process were done, I submitted the article to the Whatravel staffs. From this internship, I realize that copywriting is not just about writing attractive words but also about understanding the audience. Copywriting involves in depth research and the ability to tell stories that can build an emotional connection with the audience. This experience taught me the importance of understanding the needs of the target market, especially in the travel industry. So, this internship program is highly recommended for individuals aspiring to gain practical experience as a copywriter in the travel industry.
