STUDI OPTIMASI PENGARUH PERUBAHAN KONSENTRASI TERHADAP KECEPATAN PUTAR SPIN COATING PADA PENUMBUHAN MEMBRAN POLYVINYL ALCOHOL (PVA) DI ATAS ELEKTRODA PLATINUM (Pt)

Membrane films PVA were grown on Pt electrodes using Spin Coating method. The electrodes were made using Ladd evaporator research with 1.7cm depocite distance, 5 x 10-6 torr pressure, minimum slith width of wire cut filter ( 1mm ). Electrodes resistance are (1.620 ± 0.315) W, (1.640 ± 0.295) W and (1.560 ± 0.254) W. The act of growing PVA used 1.5 minute spin time, used water as soluble with three concentrate variation of PVA, that are 33%PVA, 20%PVA, 14%PVA. At 33%PVA concentrate, the maximum absorbance is 3.3, resistance PVA is ( 1.0 ± 0.1 ) x 108 W and angular velocity optimize is 4000rpm. At 20%PVA concentrate, the maximum absorbance is 2.3, resistance PVA is ( 2.3 ± 0.2 ) x 108 W and angular velocity optimize is 1500rpm. At 14%PVA concentrate, the maximum absorbance is 2.1, resistance PVA is ( 7.0 ± 0.8 ) x 108 W and angular velocity optimize is 1250rpm. More concentrad of PVA concentrate, the angular velocity optimize is more faster, and the resistance became smaller. Key words : Spin coating, Evaporator, PVA, Pt, Absorbance, Resistance
