The objectives of this research are (1) To determine the availability and
adequacy of Public Green Open Space in Jebres District, Surakarta City in 2022.
(2) To determine community participation in the management of Public Green
Open Space in Jebres District, Surakarta City in 2022. The research method used
in this research is the qualitative descriptive with a spatial approach. The
population in this study was RTH Public in Jebres District, managers and the
community living around the research location in Jebres District. The sampling
technique in this research used incidental sampling technique. Data collection
was carried out using observation techniques, document analysis and in-depth
interviews. The validity testing technique used is triangulation of methods and
data sources. The results of this research are as follows. First, the availability and
adequacy of public green open space (a) The availability of public green open
space in Jebres District is 170 points with an area of 146.10 ha. In the categories
of Park and City Forest RTH, there are 75 points with an area of 75.46 ha, Road
Green Route RTH has a total of 66 points with an area of 3.39 ha and Specific
RTH has a total of 29 points with an area of 67.26 ha. (b) The adequacy of public
green open space in Jebres District according to Minister of Public Works
Regulation Number 05/PRT/M/2008 is 287.6 ha. Meanwhile, the value of
availability of public green open space is 146.1 ha or 10.16%, so that the
adequacy of public green open space in Jebres District is not yet sufficient and
there is a shortage of 141.5 ha to reach a public green open space proportion of
20%. Second, analysis of community participation in the management of public
green open space consists of the level of community participation, where the level
of community participation in Jebres District is Manipulation, the stage of
community participation, where the stage of community participation in Jebres
District is Participation in Evaluation and factors that influence the level and
stages of participation. public. The conclusion obtained is that the availability of
public green open space in Jebres District is 146.10 ha. And the value of
adequacy of Public Green Space in Jebres District is considered insufficient and
still has a deficiency of 141.5 ha of the appropriate Green Open Space (RTH)
area.
