KEANEKARAGAMAN JENIS BURUNG DI KAWASAN TAMAN NASIONAL GUNUNG MERBABU PADA JALUR PENDAKIAN TEKELAN KOPENG JAWA TENGAH

ABSTRACT The aim of this research is (1) To know diversity of birds in National Park of Merbabu Mountain area. (2) To know the phyllogenetic relationship of birds in National Park of Merbabu Mountain area. Method of this research is survey, it work with exploration of the route that has been marked and make a data list from all of the bird species that present on that route. The birds were identified based on morphologic character. The diversity of bird species were analized with “quality descriptive method”, and to determine the relationship among them were done by “taxonomy numeric method” with SPSS ver. 16. Result showed there were 13 species of birds (5 orde, 12 family) in National Park of Merbabu area on Tekelan climb way area i.e: Lanius schach, Pycnonotus aurigaster, Pericrocotus cinnamomeus, Pericrocotus flammeus, isPhylloscopus trivirgatus, Todirhamphus chloris, Streptopelia chinensis, Parus major, Cacomantis merulinus, Acridotheres javanicus, Collocalia maxima, Zosterops palpebrosus, Dicrurus macrocercus. The phyllogenetic relationship that close is between Pericrocotus cinnamomeus and Pericrocotus flammeus with taxonomic distance value is 1,732 and 3 difference of morphologic character. The phyllogenetic relationship that distant is between Phylloscopus trivirgatus and Cacomantis merulinus with taxonomic distance value is 4, 583 and 21 difference of morphologic character.
