Keanekaragaman jenis burung air di Waduk Mulur Sukoharjo

ABSTRACT Indonesia was the most important country that concern for the habitat of water birds life. It`s about 184 species of water birds that classified in 18 family have been found in Indonesia.One of the region water land in central java that has a potential for diversity of water birds is Mulur reservoir in Sukoharjo. The aim of this research were (1) To know diversity of water birds species in Mulur reservoir, and (2) To know the “phylogenetic relationship” of water birds in Mulur reservoir. Method of this research is survey, it works with exploration of the route that has been marked and make a data list from all of the bird species that present on that route. The birds were identified based on morphologic character. The diversity of birds species were analized with “quality descriptive method”, and to determine the relationship among them were done by “taxonomy numeric method” with SPSS ver. 16. Result showed, there were 6 species of water birds (3 family, 3 orde) in Mulur Reservoir i.e : Ixobrychus eurhytmus (Ardiedae, Ciconiformes), Dendrocygna javanica (Dendrocygnidae, Anseriformes), Gallinula chloropus (Rallidae, Gruiformes), Amaurornis phoenicurus (Rallidae, Gruiformes), Porphyrio porphyrio (Rallidae, Gruiformes), Bubulcus ibis (Ardiedae, Ciconiformes).The phylogenetic relationship that close is between Ixobrychus eurhytmus with Bubulcus ibis with value of the distance is 1,732. The phylogenetic relationship that distant is between Gallinula chloropus with Dendrocygna javanica as distant as Dendrocygna javanica with Amaurornis phoenicurus with value of the distance is 4,690.
