Peanut stover contains the nutrients N and P which are good for soybean and can improve the physicochemical
properties of the soil, there by increasing the growth and yield of soybean in Alfisol soil. The aim of this research was
to determine the dose of peanut stover green fertilizer that affects soybean growth and yield and identify the dosage
of peanut stover green fertilizer that plays a role in the N, P, K uptake of soybean. This research was done at the
Sebelas Maret University, Faculty of Agriculture Experimental Farm, located in Bakaran, Sukosari Village, Jumantono
District, Karanganyar Regency, Central Java from April 2022- August 2023. The method used was a Randomized
Complete Block Design (RCBD) with one factor, namely fertilizer dose (Urea 100 tons.ha-1
, SP36 75 tons.ha-1
, and
KCl 50 tons.ha-1
, peanut stover green fertilizer with doses of 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 tons.ha-1
). Each combination treatment
repeated three times. The variables observed were plant height, number of leaves, root length, plant dry weight, leaf
chlorophyll content, number of flowers, number of pods, pod dry weight, weight of 1000 seeds, soybean biomass,
tissue NPK analysis plants, plant NPK uptake, number of seeds per plot, weight of seeds per plot, soybean yield per
ha. The data obtained were then subjected to analysis of variance (ANOVA) with error level of 5% followed by further
Duncan’s Multiple Range Test (DMRT) with error level of 5% and Pearson correlation tests. The results showed that
peanut stover fertilizer played the same role as synthetic fertilizer on soybean growth and yield, but was not able to
increase the nutrient uptake of N, P, K in soybean plants
