This creative project presents the relationship between the time perception system in humans, known as chronoception, and its influence on human behavior. The objective of this creative project is to raise awareness of the chronological differences between human beings, acknowledge that humans have their own pace and time to achieve something in life and empower themselves, which subjectively puts women and environmental issues in highlight. The presentation of this project uses the qualitative methodology, which divides time into two aspects: Chronos (quantitative time) and kairos (qualitative time). The discernment of kairos is tied to time perception (chronoception). The definition of chronoception is the events’ interval, which influences a human’s perception of an event’s duration. This apprehension of time course happened because there are several parts in the human brain (neuroanatomies) that process this sequence, named the CNS (Central Nervous System in Cortical and Subcortical Areas, including the frontal cortex, basal ganglia, parietal cortex, cerebellum, and hippocampus). The CNS exists to respond to external stimuli and produce an awareness of time. Further study has concerned the link between psychology, physics, and philosophy under psychophysics, which explains the problem regarding the notions of mind and body. This explanation expounds the intricate tie of external force to human minds to breed off the artistical side, specifically in literature, precisely in poem production. The result is presented as an exemplification of a three-sub chaptered poems compilation entitled Singularity Solstice.
