This research aims to find factors that influence community compliance with traffic
rules and find solutions to improve the compliance. The data collection method used
in this research are surveys and interviews with students and factory workers and
collecting results or findings from various sources such as books, journals, and existing
research. The results found that the level of public compliance with traffic regulations
in Surakarta (especially in Jebres, Pedaringan, and Banjarsari areas) is influenced by
several factors such as educational factors, honesty factors, and law enforcement
factors. Knowing these factors, the solution to improve public compliance with traffic
regulations is to increase law enforcement and improve the quality of education.
