Astri Yunita. 2009. STUDY DECREMENT OF Cu (II) INTERFERENCE AT Pb(II) ANALYSIS BY VOLTAMETRI WITH Cu-OXINE COMPLEX FORMATION. Mathematics and Natural Science Faculty. Sebelas Maret University. Research about study decrement of Cu (II) interference at Pb(II) analysis by voltametri with Cu-Oxine complex formation have been conducted. This research purpose is to obtain more sensitive and selective Pb(II) analysis. Cu (II) have half cell potential more positive than Pb (II) so it interfere Pb (II) analysis. Interference decrement of Cu (II) with Cu-Oxine complex formation was expected that Cu (II) were not reducted in electrode. Electropolymerization have been done by dipping Carbon Paste Electrode (CPE) into voltammetric cell, which containing of pyrrole, cysteine, and KCl in aquabidest. Measurement have been done by dipping CPE modified Ppy-Cys into voltammetric cell, which containing of Pb(II) in acetate buffer. pH Optimation done at 0,5 ppm Pb(II) with concentration variation of Cu (II) interference at pH variation of 1, 2, 3, 4 ; and addition 2x10-4 M Oxine. Optimum Measurement at pH 3 and continued with simulation and application sample measurement. Key word : Lead(II), voltammetry, pyrrole, cysteine, carbon paste electrodes
