class to participate in the study. The instruments in collecting the data are a
questionnaire and a test. The questionnaire was used to collect the data
of habit of listening to English songs
while the objective test is used to collect the data of grammatical mastery and
listening skill. The technique used to analyze the data
were Pearson Product Moment and Multiple
Linear Regression and Correlations. The results of the data analysis
indicate a significant correlation between the habit of listening to English
songs and listening skill; grammatical mastery and listening skill; and between
the habit of listening to English songs, grammatical mastery simultaneously,
and listening skill of the seventh semester students of Sebelas Maret
