This
research focuses on the effect of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) cooperative
learning model using the Monopoli Akuntansi (MONAKU) learning media on
students' critical thinking skills in the accounting subject for trading
companies. The study employs a quasi-experimental method with a non-equivalent
control group design, using a sample of two randomly selected eleventh-grade
accounting classes at SMK Negeri Jumantono. The results show that the
implementation of the TGT cooperative learning model with MONAKU media
significantly enhances students' critical thinking skills compared to the
discovery learning model. Independent t-tests and N-Gain tests support these
results, both indicate a higher average increase in critical thinking scores in
the experimental class. Accordingly, the TGT cooperative learning model using
MONAKU media positively affects students' critical thinking skills in the
practical accounting subject for Service, Trading, and Manufacturing
Companies (APJDM).
