This final report describes my activities carried out during the internship program at Televisi Kampus Universitas Dian Nuswantoro. Televisi Kampus Universitas Dian Nuswantoro is a company focused on journalism, established in 2003. By the time of my internship, it had broadcast countless news stories across a variety of topics. The internship program was conducted from January 20, 2025, to April 15, 2025. During the internship, I produced numerous news reports and scripts. I also translated the scripts I had written into English. In the translation process, I applied three translation processes, including analyzing, transferring, and restructuring. Throughout the translation process, I encountered four terms that were quite challenging to translate: "keropos", "mudik lebaran", "Indonesia emas", and "petugas berwenang". To address these challenges, I first analyzed the text to understand its meaning, then conducted research through various sources to find the most appropriate equivalents. After selecting the best translations, I restructured the sentences to make them more accessible to the target readers. In addition to writing news, scripting, and translating, I also participated in various activities, including creating English educational content, serving as a cameraperson, acting as a floor director, and operating the master control room. Through this internship, I gained valuable experience and enhanced my knowledge in both journalism and translation. Moreover, I gained valuable experience by contributing directly to news production. Therefore, this internship program has greatly helped me prepare for entering the professional industry in the future.
