Efek perlindungan ekstrak meniran (phyllanthus niruri linn.) terhadap kerusakan histologis lambung mencit (mus musculus) yang diinduksi aspirin

ABSTRAK Tujuan : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah ekstrak meniran (Phyllanthus niruri Linn.) dapat memberikan perlindungan terhadap kerusakan histologis lambung mencit (Mus musculus) yang diinduksi oleh aspirin. Metode : Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimental laboratorik dengan rancangan penelitian the post test only controlled group design. Hewan uji yang digunakan adalah mencit jantan, galur Swiss webster, sebanyak 25 ekor berumur 6-8 minggu dengan berat badan ± 20 g, yang terbagi dalam 5 kelompok yaitu kelompok kontrol (K) yang diberi 0,2 ml CMC Na 0,5% dan 0,1 ml aquades, kelompok perlakuan 1 (P1) yang diberi 0,2 ml aquades dan 0,1 ml aspirin dosis 1,7 mg/20 gBB mencit peroral, kelompok perlakuan 2 (P2) yang diberi 0,2 ml ekstrak meniran 1,3 mg/20 gBB mencit peroral dan 0,1 ml aspirin dosis 1,7 mg/20 gBB mencit peroral, kelompok perlakuan 3 (P3) yang diberi 0,2 ml ekstrak meniran 2,6 mg/20 gBB peroral dan 0,1 ml aspirin dosis 1,7 mg/20 gBB mencit peroral dan kelompok kontrol positif (P4) yang diberi 0,2 ml cimetidin dosis 0,26 mg/20 gBB dan 0,1 ml aspirin dosis 1,7 mg/20 gBB mencit peroral. Gambaran histologis lambung dilihat dengan mikroskop cahaya terang dengan perbesaran 100x dilanjutkan dengan perbesaran 400x. Gambaran histologis lambung kemudian dibedakan menjadi normal, kerusakan ringan, dan kerusakan berat. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan uji statistik Kruskal Wallis dan uji statistik Mann Whitney dengan  = 0,05. Hasil : Hasil uji statistik Kruskal Wallis menunjukan adanya paling sedikit satu populasi yang mempunyai nilai lebih besar daripada populasi lainnya. Hasil uji statistik Mann Whitney menunjukan adanya perbedaan yang bermakna antara kelompok K-P1, P1-P2, P1-P3, P1-P4, dan perbedaan yang tidak bermakna antara kelompok K-P2, K-P3, K-P4, P2-P3, P2-P4, P3-P4. Simpulan : Ekstrak meniran ( Phyllanthus niruri Linn.) dapat memberikan perlindungan terhadap kerusakan histologis lambung mencit (Mus musculus) yang diinduksi oleh aspirin. Kata kunci : meniran, aspirin, histologis lambung Objective : This experiment was aimed to know the effect of Meniran (Phyllanthus niruri Linn.) extract protection on the mice’s (Mus musculus) gastric histology damage induced by aspirin. Methods : This study belongs to an experimental laboratory research with posttest only controlled group design. The tested animals used were 25 Swiss Webster male mice in 6-8 week age and  20 g body weight, divided into 5 groups: control (K) given 0.2 ml CMC, Na 0.5% and 0.1 ml aquadest, treatment 1 (P1) given 0.2 ml aquadest and 0.1 ml aspirin with dosage of 1.7 mg/20 g BW mice per oral, treatment 2 (P2) given 0.2 ml meniran extract with dosage of 1.3 mg/20 g BW per oral and 0.1 ml aspirin with dosage of 1.7 mg/20 g BW mice per oral, treatment 3 (P3) given 0.2 ml meniran extract with dosage of 2.6 mg/20 g BW per oral and 0.1 ml aspirin with dosage of 1.7 mg/20 g BW mice per oral, and positive control groups (P4) given 0.2 cimetidine with dosage of 2.6 mg/20 g BW per oral and 0.1 ml aspirin with dosage of 1.7 mg/20 g BW mice per oral. Gastric histological description can be seen with bright light microscope with 100 x magnification followed by 400x magnification. Then gastric histological description is divided into normal, light damage, and heavy damage. The data obtained was then analyzed using Kruskal Wallis and Mann Whitney statistical test at α = 0.05. Results : The results of Kruskal Wallis statistic test shows that there is at least one population with value higher than other population. The result of Mann Whitney statistical test shows that there is a significant difference between the groups K-P1, P1-P2, P1-P3, P1-P4, and insignificant difference between K-P2, K-P3, K-P4, P2-P3, P2-P4, P3-P4. Conclusion : The conclusion of research is meniran extract (Phyllanthus niruri Linn) can give protection on the mice (mus musculus) gastric histological damage induced by aspirin.
