Upaya meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika pada materi penjumlahan melalui metode jarimatika pada siswa Tuna Grahita kelas v semester ii di SDLB Negeri Cangakan Karanganyar tahun pelajaran 2009/2010

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mencari model metode pembelajaran yang efektif untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika materi penjumlahan melalui metode jarimatika pada siswa tunagrahita kelas V semester II di SDLB Negeri Cangakan Karanganyar tahun pelajaran 2009/2010. Metode pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Subyek penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa tunagrahita kelas V semester II SDLB Negeri Cangakan Karanganyar tahun pelajaran 2009/2010 yang berjumlah 4 siswa. Teknik analisis data digunakan analisis komparatif, artinya peristiwa/kejadian yang timbul dibandingkan kemudian dideskripsikan ke dalam suatu bentuk data penilaian yang berupa nilai hasil belajar matematika. Dari prosentase dideskripsikan kearah kecenderungan tindakan guru dan reaksi serta hasil belajar siswa. Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan data dari pelaksanaan tindakan kelas dapat dijelaskan bahwa nilai awal berhitung penjumlahan rata-rata kelas 52,50. Siswa yang mendapat nilai 60 atau lebih hanya 1 siswa dengan tingkat ketuntasan klasikal 25,00%, pada siklus I nilai rata-rata kelas 57,50, siswa yang mendapat nilai 60 ke atas terdapat 2 siswa dengan tingkat ketuntasan 50% dan tinggal 2 siswa yang belum tuntas, pada siklus II nilai rata-rata kelas 63,75, seluruh siswa mendapat nilai 60,00 ke atas yang diasumsikan secara klasikal telah menuntaskan belajar berhitung penjumlahan dengan tingkat ketuntasan 100%. Berdasarkan uraian di atas dapat disimpulkan bahwa melalui metode jarimatika dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika pada materi penjumlahan pada siswa tunagrahita kelas V semester II SDLB Negeri Cangakan Karanganyar tahun pelajaran 2009/2010. ABSTRACT This study aims to find a model for effective learning methods to improve learning outcomes through the method of summation of mathematics materials to students with mentally retarded jarimatika class V second semester at state SDLB Negeri Cangakan Karanganyar 2009/2010 school year. Methods research approach used was Classroom Action Research (CAR) that is research done by teachers in the classroom where teaching, with emphasis on improvement or improvement of practices and processes in learning mathematics. The subject of this study are all students with mentally retarded class V second semester SDLB Negeri Cangakan Karanganyar academic year 2009/2010 school wich amounted to four students. This study uses descriptive comparative analysis technique, namely by comparing the tes value of inter-cycles. This study analyzes the students’ test value before using jarimatika method and their test value after using jarimatika method two cycles. Based on the initial value, known value of the sum arithmetic average value of 57,50 class. Students who score 60 or more students with only a 25,00% level of classical completeness, level of classical completeness, in the first cycle the average value of 57,50 class, students who score above 60 to have twho students with a mastery level of 50% and stayed two students unfinished, on the second cycle tghe average value of 63,75 class, all students receive the value of 60 and above who have completed the classically assumed to learn to count the sum with 100% mastery level. Based on the above description can be concluded that through jarimatika method can improve mathematics learning outcomes of students on the material of the sum in the second half of the V class with mentally retarded SDLB Negeri Cangakan Karanganyar academic year 2009/2010.
