Efektivitas penggunaan internet terhadap hasil belajar mahasiswa semester gasal D iv kebidanan Fakultas kedokteran UNS

ABSTRAK Latar Belakang: Internet (International networking) adalah sebuah jaringan global yang memungkinkan komputer melakukan komunikasi dengan dunia luar sebagai jalan utama informasi, sumber ilmu pengetahuan global, dan mengandung arti kolaborasi serta kerjasama dalam komunitas yang berbeda. Salah satu bidang yang terkena dampak perkembangan teknologi ini adalah dunia pendidikan. Sebagai sebuah sumber informasi yang hampir tidak terbatas, maka internet memenuhi kapasitas untuk dijadikan sebagai salah satu sumber pembelajaran dalam dunia pendidikan. Tujuan: Untuk mengetahui seberapa besar efektivitas penggunaan internet terhadap hasil belajar mahasiswa semester gasal D IV Kebidanan Fakultas Kedokteran UNS. Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian korelasi dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Analisis yang dipakai dalam penelitian ini adalah uji non parametrik Kendall Tau. Hasil: Jumlah mahasiswa semester II, IV dan VIII D IV Kebidanan FK UNS yang menggunakan internet secara aktif berjumlah 44 orang (45,4%) dari 97 mahasiswa. Efektivitas penggunaan internet pada mahasiswa semester II, IV dan VIII D IV Kebidanan FK UNS terbanyak yaitu dalam kategori efektif berjumlah 25 mahasiswa (56,8%). Hasil belajar semester gasal mahasiswa semester II, IV dan VIII D IV Kebidanan FK UNS terbanyak yaitu dalam kategori sangat memuaskan berjumlah 36 mahasiswa (81,8%). Nilai Sig (2 tailed) sebesar 0,549>5% sehingga H1 ditolak sedangkan nilai koefisien korelasi Kendall Tau τ= -0,090. Simpulan: Tidak terdapat hubungan antara “efektifitas penggunaan internet” dengan “hasil belajar mahasiswa” dengan nilai τ= -0,090. Hal ini menunjukkan adanya hubungan negatif yang sangat kecil. Artinya, pengaruh negatif efektifitas penggunaan internet terhadap hasil belajar sebesar 9%. One area affected by the development of this technology is education. As a source of almost unlimited information, the Internet meets the capacity to serve as one source of learning in education. Objective: To determine how much the effectiveness of the use of the Internet on student learning outcomes odd semester D IV Midwifery Faculty Of Medicine UNS. Methods: This study is a correlation with cross sectional approach. The analysis used in this research is non-parametric Kendall Tau test. Results: The number of student semester II, IV and VIII D IV Midwifery Faculty Of Medicine UNS are actively using the Internet amounted to 44 persons (45.4%) of 97 students. Effectiveness of Internet usage in student semester II, IV and VIII D IV Midwifery Faculty Of Medicine UNS is the most effective in this category amounted to 25 students (56.8%). Odd semester of student learning outcomes semester II, IV and VIII D IV Midwifery Faculty Of Medicine UNS is the most highly satisfactory in category amounted to 36 students (81.8%). Sig (2 tailed) of 0.549> 5% so that H1 is rejected, while Kendall Tau correlation coefficient τ = -0.090. Conclusion: There is no relationship between the "effective use of the internet" with "student learning outcomes" with the value τ = -0.090. This shows the negative relationship that is very small and can be ignored. That is, the negative influence of the effective use of the internet to learning outcomes 9%.
