Peningkatan prestasi belajar matematika pada pokok bahasan pecahan melalui pendekatan matematika realistik pada siswa kelas IV SDN 3 Gagaksipat Ngemplak Boyolali tahun 2009/2010

ABSTRAK Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan prestasi belajar matematika pada pokok bahasan pecahan melalui Pendekatan Matematika Realistik pada siswa kelas IV SDN 3 Gagaksipat Ngemplak Boyolali tahun 2009/2010. Penelitian ini menggunakan model siklus sedangkan subyek penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 3 Gagaksipat Tahun 2009/2010 berjumlah 18 siswa Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi, tes dan dokumen. Validitas data yang digunakan adalah dengan trianggulasi data dan trianggulasi metode. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah model analisis interaktif yang mempunyai tiga buah komponen yaitu reduksi data, sajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tindakan kelas pada pembelajaran matematika Pada siklus I pertemuan pertama nilai rata-rata siswa 72 dengan persentase siswa memperoleh nilai diatas 70 sebanyak 83,33%, pada pertemuan kedua nilai rata-rata siswa 68 dengan persentase siswa yang memperoleh nilai di atas 70 sebanyak 72,21%. Pada pertemuan ketiga nilai rata-rata siswa 63 dengan persentase siswa memperoleh nilai diatas 70 sebanyak 72,21%. Sedangkan siklus II menunjukkan peningkatan yang cukup berarti. Pada siklus II pertemuan pertama 73 dengan persentase siswa yang memperoleh nilai di atas 70 sebanyak 88,89%. Pada pertemuan kedua nilai rata-rata siswa 74 dengan persentase siswa yang memperoleh nilai diatas 70 sebanyak 88,89%. Pada pertemuan ketiga nilai rata-rata siswa 75 dengan persentase siswa memperoleh nilai diatas 70 sebesar 83,33%. Pada siklus Kedua ini diperoleh rata-rata ketuntasan klasikal sebanyak 83,33%. Dengan demikian, dapat diajukan suatu rekomendasi bahwa pembelajaran matematika dengan menggunakan Pendekatan Matematika Realistik dapat meningkatkan Prestasi Belajar Matematika siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 3 Gagaksipat Kecamatan Ngemplak Kabupaten Boyolali Tahun 2009/2010. ABSTRACT The purpose of this research is to improve mathematics achievement on the subject of fraction through realistic mathematic education approach the fourth year student of SDN 3 Gagaksipat Ngemplak Boyolali academic year 2009/2010. This research used cycle model and subjects of the research is the fourth year student of SDN 3 Gagaksipat Ngemplak Boyolali academic year 2009/2010 amount 18 students. Technique of data collection used observation technique, test and document. Data validity used interactive analysis model that had 3 components: data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. Based on the result of classroom action research on mathematics in the cycle 1 on the first meeting, the student’s average score is 72 with the percentage of students getting score more than 70 was 83,33%. In the second meeting, the student’s average score is 68 with the percentage of students getting score more than 70 was 72,21%. In the third meeting the student’s average score is 63 with the percentage of students getting score more than 70 was 72,21%. It can be recommended that learning mathematics by using realistic mathematic education approach can improve mathematics achievement on the subject of fraction in the fourth year student of SDN 3 Gagaksipat Ngemplak Boyolali academic year 2009/2010.
