Peningkatan hasil belajar IPS melalui model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe student teams achievement division pada siswa kelas IV B SD Muhammadiyah Wonorejo Polokarto kabupaten Sukoharjo

ABSTRAK Tujuan penelitian tindakan kelas ini adalah memperbaiki proses pembelajaran sehingga hasil belajar IPS dapat ditingkatkan melalui pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Student Teams Achievement Division pada siswa kelas IV B SD Muhammadiyah Wonorejo. Subjek penelitian tindakan kelas ini adalah siswa kelas IV B SD Muhammadiyah Wonorejo, Polokarto Kabupaten Sukoharjo Tahun Pelajaran 2009 / 2010 terdiri dari 36 siswa. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, pada setiap siklus terdapat dua kali pertemuan. Setiap siklus meliputi tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Bentuk tindakan yang diberikan adalah pembelajaran IPS menggunakan model kooperatif tipe Student Teams Achievement Division. Untuk mengetahui hasil belajar siswa, diadakan tes awal sebelum tindakan dan tes pada setiap akhir pertemuan. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik wawancara, observasi, tes dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis diskriptif interaktif. Validitas data yang digunakan adalah triangulasi metode dan triangulasi data. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, diperoleh nilai rata-rata hasil tes awal sebelum tindakan yaitu 65,39, dengan ketuntasan klasikal 52,78%. Pada siklus I menunjukkan nilai rata-rata kelas mencapai 71,83 dan ketuntasan klasikal meningkat menjadi 72,22%. Pada siklus II nilai rata-rata kelas meningkat menjadi 79,39 dan ketuntasan klasikal meningkat menjadi 86,11%. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran IPS melalui model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Student Teams Achievement Division dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas IV B SD Muhammadiyah Wonorejo, Polokarto, Kabupaten Sukoharjo tahun ajaran 2009/2010. Kata kunci: hasil belajar IPS, model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Student Teams Achievement Division ABSTRACT The purposes of this Classroom Action Research are to improve the learning process, so the learning outcome on the social science can be increased through cooperative learning in type Student Teams Achievement Division on the 4th B grade students of Muhammadiyah elementary school, Wonorejo, Polokarto, Sukoharjo. The subject of this Classroom Action Research are student of 4th grade of the class B in Muhammadiyah elementary school, Wonorejo, Polokarto, Sukoharjo in the academic year of 2009/2010 which consist of 36 students. There are two cycle in this research, each cycle consist of two sessions. Each of the cycle consists of planning stage, implementation stage, observation stage, and reflection stage. The action form that given is social science learning through cooperative learning in type Student Teams Achievement Division. To know the student’s learning outcome there were a pre test before the action and post test in the end of every session. Data collecting technique that used were interview, observation, test and documentation techniques. Data analizing technique that used was the interactive descriptive analysis. Validity of the data that used was triangulation method and triangulation data. Based on results of the research, it was obtained that the average grade of the pre test before the action was 65,39, with the classical completeness was 52,78%. In the first cycle, it indicates that average grade was up to 71,83 and classical completeness was raising up to 72,22%. In the second cycle, average grade was up to 79,39 with classical completeness was raising up to 86,11%. Therefore, it can be concluded that social science learning through cooperative learning in type Student Teams Achievement Division can improve the study outcomet of the 4th B grade students of Muhammadiyah elementary school, Wonorejo, Polokarto, Sukoharjo in the academic year 2009/2010.
