Pengaruh penggunaan media vcd terhadap prestasi belajar ilmu pengetahuan alam pada siswa sekolah dasar negeri di kecamatan Ngadirojo ditinjau dari kreativitas belajar siswa

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui : (1).Perbedaan pengaruh penggunaan media VCD dan media OHP terhadap prestasi belajar Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam. (2) Perbedaan pengaruh kreativitas belajar siswa tinggi dan kreativitas belajar siswa rendah terhadap prestasi belajar Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam. (3) Interaksi pengaruh penggunaan media dan kreativitas belajar terhadap prestasi belajar Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SD di Kecamatan Ngadirojo Tahun Pelajaran 2008/2009. SD Negeri I Gedong sebagai sekolah eksperiman dan SD Negeri I Pondok sebagai sekolah pembanding. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode eksperimen. Penarikan sampel penelitian menggunakan multi stage cluster random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes dan angket. Tes digunakan untuk mengetahui prestasi belajar siswa dan angket digunakan untuk mengetahui kreativitas belajar siswa. Uji validitas instrumen tes menggunakan Product Moment, hasil dari 40 butir soal semua valid dan reliabilitas instrumen menggunakan Spearman Brown diperoleh perhitungan sebesar 0,971. Uji validitas angket menggunakan Product Moment, hasil dari 30 butir soal ada 2 butir soal yang tidak valid dan reliabilitas instrumen menggunakan Spearman Brown diperoleh perhitungan sebesar 0,929. Teknik analisis data menggunakan Analisis Varians (ANAVA) dua jalur. Kesimpulan berdasarkan analisis data adalah : (1) Terdapat perbedaan pengaruh penggunaan media VCD dan media OHP terhadap prestasi belajar Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam, dengan Fhitung 7,690 > Ftabel 4,02 taraf signifikansi 5% artinya Ho ditolak.(2) Terdapat perbedaan pengaruh kreativitas belajar siswa tinggi dan kreativitas belajar siswa rendah terhadap prestasi belajar Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam, dengan Fhitung 17,312 > Ftabel 4,02 taraf signifikansi 5% artinya Ho ditolak (3) Terdapat interaksi pengaruh penggunaan media dan kreativitas belajar terhadap prestasi belajar Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam, dengan Fhitung 5,107 > Ftabel 4,02 taraf signifikansi 5% artinya Ho ditolak. ABSTRACT The objectives of this research are 1) to find out whether there is a different effect between VCD media and OHP on students’ learning achievement in Natural Science, 2) to know whether there is a different effect betwen students’ with high motivation and those with low motivation on their learning achievement in Natural Science, and 3) to know whether there is a significant interaction between the media and students’ creativity on the learning achievement in Natural Science. This research, which was carried out at state elementary schools in Ngadirojo Subdistrict in 2008/2009 academic year, is an experimental study. SD Negeri I Gedong was selected as an experimental school and SD Negeri I Pondok was chosen as a comparison school. The research sample was drawn using multi stage cluster random sampling technique. Two types of instrument was used to gather data for the study. A test was administered to collect data about students’ learning achievement and a queationnaire was employed to gather data about students’ learning creativity. The validity of the tes was examined using Product Moment indicating that the 40 test items were found valid and its reliability was tested using Spearman Brown (0.971). Meanwhile, the validity of the quastionnaire was tested with Product Moment which showed that 2 out of 30 items were found not valid. The reliability of the questionnaire was tested using Spearman Brown (0.929). The research data were analyzed with two-path variance analysis (ANAVA). Results of data analysis at the significant level =0.05 show that 1) there is a different effect between the VCD media and OHP on the students’ learning achievement in Natural Science ( F count 7.690 > F table 4.02), which means that the hypothesis was rejected. 2) there is a different effect between students’ with high creativity and those with low creativity on their learning achievement in Natural Science ( F count 17.312 > F table 4.02) which means that the hypothesis was rejected, and 3) there is a significant difference of interaction between the use of teaching-learning media and the students’ learning creativity on their learning achievement in Natural Science ( F count 5.107 > F table 4.02) which means that the hypothesis was rejected.
