Decision Support System penjurusan siswa di SMA

ABSTRACT Majoring is one of determination of students to select their interest according to the enthusiasm, talent and score in SMA. To do majoring it is required to support from the side of student, class sponsor and guidance and counseling advice. Recently, majoring in SMA still has not been computerized that can be used to support management to make his decision to classify the students according to their majoring. Purpose of this paper is to design and to create its prototype program for majoring decision support system in SMA. For gaining that purpose to create the majoring decision support system, it is needed accurate data that can be gathering using interview and literature study methods. The program was developed using mozilla firefox to run the application, Appserv to management the database and Macromedia Dreamwaver 8 to be the text editor and to create the script design. It was concluded that the design and implementation of the majoring decision support system in SMA, has already been developed. ABSTRAK Penjurusan merupakan salah satu faktor penentuan siswa dapat mengikuti kelas jurusan sesuai dengan minat, bakat dan nilai yang ada di SMA. Untuk melakukan penjurusan diperlukan dukungan dari pihak siswa, wali kelas dan guru BP. Sekarang ini, penjurusan di SMA masih belum menggunakan komputer sebagai pendukung pengelolaan untuk membuat keputusan penggolongan siswa menurut penjurusan. Tujuan dalam pembuatan tugas akhir ini untuk merancang dan membuat bentuk asli program decision support system penjurusan siswa di SMA. Untuk pencapaian tujuan dalam membuat decision support system penjurusan, maka dibutuhkan data-data yang akurat dengan menggunakan metode wawancara dan studi pustaka. Program dikembangkan dengan menggunakan mozilla firefox untuk menjalankan aplikasi, Appserv untuk pengelolaan database dan Macromedia Dreamweaver 8 sebagai text editor untuk membuat rancangan script. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa perancangan dan implementasi decision support system penjurusan siswa di SMA, telah siap dikembangkan. Kata kunci : Decision Support System, Penjurusan, SMA
