ABSTRAK The purpose of this research was to determine the role of tax bailiff in execution pressing a claim of taxation in KPP Pratama Karanganyar. The procedure used in this research was to determine the scope of research in order to obtain a sample to be raised to a problem. Furthermore, descriptively approach was done appropriate with situation and condition of KPP Pratama Karanganyar through data collection techniques include: interviews, observation, library research, and data processing. From the results it can be concluded that the tax bailiff being the important part of the execution pressing a claim of taxation, but there are some obstacles in the implementation the role of tax bailiff in execution pressing a claim of taxation. Based on the conclusions, the researcher provide some suggestions and recommendations are: to improve the way of working and the quality of the tax bailiff, and to provide more socialization in the community.
