ABSTRACT The objective of this study is to know and evaluate the financial performance of PT. BPR Sukadana Surakart. Bank serves to colletct fund and distribute them to pubic, which has to maintain public trust for the bank can implement its primary function and for its business survival. To maintain public trust, bank has to show good financial performance with taking care of sufficient liquidity and fair rentability achievement, and also compliance on adequate capital need. Financial performance can be analyzed using liquidity ratio, solvability and rentability analysis on financial report of a bank. From the liquidity ratio, solvability and rentability analysis on bank financial report of PT. BPR Sukadana Surakarta period 2005-2008, it shows that the bank’s financial performance is sufficiently maintained. This proved by liquidity ratio, solvability and rentability numbers which are in meeting with bank steadiness standard according to Central Bank Requirements. Based on this study results, the author suggests for the bank necessarily taking more attention on asset management for the ability to produce maximum profit and also the liquid asset amounts for the steadiness of liquidity level.
