Pengaruh kinerja keuangan dan ukuran perusahaan terhadap return saham perbankan yang terdaftar di BEI tahun 2004-2008

ABSTRACT The purpose this study to determine the effect financial performance and firm size on stock return of banking. Financial performance on this study measured by Earning Per Share (EPS), Return On Asset (ROA), Leverage Ratio (LEV) and Price Earning Ratio (PER). While Firm Size is measured by logarithm value from total assets. The study was conducted on 20 companies listed of banking in Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2004 to 2008. Dependent variables in this study is stock return, while Earning Per Share (EPS), Return On Asset (ROA), Leverage Ratio (LEV), Price Earning Ratio (PER) and Firm Size as independent variables. The results of this study based on multiple regression analysis states that Earning Per Share (EPS), Return On Asset (ROA), Leverage Ratio (LEV),Price Earning Ratio(PER) and Firm Size have a positive effect by simultaneously on stock return of banking, the case based on results Fhitung = 2,404 bigger than Ftabel = 2,35. By parsially Return On Asset (ROA) and Price Earning Ratio (PER) have a positive effect on stock return of banking which is Return On Asset (ROA) have more dominant effect with beta value bigger than another variables, there is 0,461.
