ABSTRACT 2010. Land Disputes Former Tobacco Plantation of Bandar Chalipah, Deli Serdang Regency Year 1947-1960. Thesis Department of History Faculty of Literature and Fine Arts Sebelas Maret University. Problems discussed in this reseach are (1) What are the causes of land disputes former tobacco plantation in Bandar Chalipah 1947-1960? (2) How are forms of disputes which occurred during the year 1947 until the year 1960 in Bandar Chalipah tobacco plantations? (3) How is the conflict resolution process of the former plantation land Chalipah Airport by the parties concerned? The purpose of this study were (1) Determine the causes of land disputes former tobacco plantation in Bandar Chalipah 1947-1960. (2) Knowing the form of disputes that occurred during the year 1947 until the year 1960 in Bandar Chalipah tobacco plantation. (3) Identifying the conflict resolution process of the former tobacco plantation land Chalipah Airport by the parties concerned. This study is a history of using the method of history that includes four phases, namely heuristic, critics of both internal and external sources, interpretations and historiography. The main sources of data used or the form of archives which was once owned by AVROS. Techniques of data analysis is descriptive, producing research that is descriptive analysis. Post-independence around the year 1947 was a difficult period for the people who live around Bandar Chalipah tobacco plantation. The only way that can be done to keep people alive is to occupy lands tobacco plantation that has been abandoned by their owners (DPV / AVROS). Lands former tobacco plantation Bandar Chalipah they use to grow food crops such as rice, maize, yams and so forth. The return entrepreneurs plantation tobacco plantation in Bandar Chalipah in 1950 to make the people must be eliminated from the lands occupied by them. This is the beginning of the emergence of disputes between planters and the people. Government to mediate in a dispute over land in Bandar Chalipah tobacco plantation with a couple of times out of legislation that are not permanent. However, disputes continue to occur until the year 1958. Disputes continue to happen because the people in dire need of land and from the results of their tanahlah rely. Such conditions encourage the government to immediately conduct the nationalization of the tobacco plantations and developing Bandar Chalipah agrarian legislation permanent. From this analysis we can conclude that the factors of land ownership status of the main cause of land disputes in Bandar Chalipah tobacco plantation.
