Hasil belajar biologi ditinjau dari pembelajaran inkuiri dan kemandirian belajar pada kelas VII SMP N 16 Surakarta tahun ajaran 2008/2009

ABSTRAK Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk : 1) mengetahui ada tidaknya pengaruh pembelajaran dengan inkuiri terhadap hasil belajar siswa., 2) mengetahui ada tidaknya pengaruh kemandirian belajar terhadap hasil belajar siswa., 3) mengetahui ada tidaknya interaksi antara pembelajaran dengan inkuiri dan kemandirian belajar siswa terhadap hasil belajar siswa.. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen, yaitu penelitian eksperimen semu (quasi experimental research) dengan menggunakan rancangan randomized control only posttest design. Populasi penelitian yaitu seluruh siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 16 Surakarta tahun ajaran 2008/ 2009. Sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 2 kelas yaitu kelas VIIB dan kelas VIIC yang masing-masing berjumlah 38 siswa. Teknik dan alat pengumpulan data adalah dengan angket, tes dan observasi.Teknik angket untuk memperoleh data hasil belajar afektif dan kemandirian belajar siswa. Teknik test digunakan untuk memperoleh data hasil belajar ranah kognitif. Observasi untuk memperoleh data hasil belajar psikomotor. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis variansi dua jalan dengan sel tak sama. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa : 1) terdapat pengaruh pembelajaran dengan inkuiri terhadap hasil belajar biologi siswa, 2) terdapat pengaruh kemandirian belajar terhadap hasil belajar biologi siswa, dan 3) terdapat interaksi interaksi antara pembelajaran inkuiri dengan kemandirian belajar terhadap hasil belajar biologi ranah afektif dan psikomotor. Abstract The purpose of the research is : 1) to know whether there is any effect of inquiry learning in the student achievement of biology, 2) to know whether there is any effect of autonomeus of study in the student achievement of biology, 3) to know whether there is any interaction between teaching method with autonomeus of study toward student achievement. This research uses experimental methods which is quasi experimental research and uses randomized control only posttest design. The research population are all students of 7th grade SMPN 16 Surakarta in academic year 2008-2009. the sample that is used in this research are two classes, class VIIB and class VIIC which each of its has 38 students. The collecting data techniques that are used involve questionnare, test and observation. Questionnaiere is used to get affective achievement and student autonomeus data. Test is used to obtained cognitif achievement. Observation is used to get psicomotoric achievement. Data analysis technique used analysis of variances two ways. Based on the result of the research, it can be concluded that : 1) there is any effect of inquiry learning in the student achievement of biology, 2) there is any effect of autonomeus of study in the student achievement of biology, 3) there is any interaction between teaching method with autonomeus of study toward student achievement
