Kasihadi RB. S. 8103013. A Path Analysis Model on Teachers’ Perception, Motivation and Microteaching towards Teaching Training Program: A Case Study of Students of AKTA IV Program of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education of Veteran Bangun Nusantara University of Sukoharjo. Thesis. Educational Technology Study Program, Graduate Program of Sebelas Maret University, September 2005. The problem of this study is formulated as follows: “Is there any significant correlation between teachers’ perception, motivation, and microteaching towards Teaching Training Program?” The present study is a case study of students of AKTA IV Program of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education of Veteran Bangun Nusantara University of Sukoharjo. The objective of this study is to find out whether there is a significant direct correlation between teachers’ perception, motivation and microteaching towards Teaching Training Program. The population of this study are 132 students of the AKTA IV Program of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education of Veteran Bangun Nusantara University of Sukoharjo for the 2004-2005 Academic Year. The sample of the study are 100 students selected using the purposive random sampling technique. This study employed a path analysis model. Path analysis model is an extension of the regression model used to test the fit of the correlation matrix against two or more causal models which are being compared by the researcher. Basically, path analysis is a phased regression model. Based on the results of data analysis and discussion, it can be concluded that there is a direct and significant correlation (1) between teachers’ perception and Teaching Training Program, (2) between teachers’ motivation and Teaching Training Program, and (3) between microteaching and Teaching Training Program. Meanwhile, teachers’ perception and motivation do not directly and significantly correlate with Teaching Training Program as evidenced by the following path coefficient: PY1 = 0.216, PY2 = 0.220, PY3 = 0.668 and the following path coefficient of X3 variables: PX1 = 0.132 and P X1 = 0.120.
