This final project report is written based on the job training in SMP Negeri 14 Surakarta for 30 days. The aim of this final project report is to describe the teaching and learning process as well as the problems and solutions. The process of English teaching and learning covers of several steps including greeting, introducing the topic, explaining the materials, giving exercises, and ending the Lesson. Several problems come from the students and the teacher in process of English teaching and learning. The problem coming from the students are uncooperative students and lack of vocabulary. The problems coming from the teacher are material presentation and limited of time. The solutions to the problems require the more attention from the students and the teachers. Skill of the teacher to manage the class is necessary to be improved. The teacher also needs to give big motivation about the importance of English to the students.
