Communication Plan Of The Solopos Journalism Training Program

The objective of this study is to evaluate the existing condition of the SOLOPOS Journalism Training Program and to propose a move comprehensive planning for the SOLOPOS Journalism Training Program. In this report, the type of analysis is conducted by using the SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats) analysis. The SWOT analysis is aimed to know the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats of a company or organization or product. The report was arranged in the form of Field Study report, written by taking data from the field either by observation or having an in depth interview, including certain aspects that are relevant with the title and the problem statements of this investigation. The data were analyzed to evaluate the existing condition of the SOLOPOS Journalism Training Program. There was a decreasing trend of the number of participants each month in 2011. Presumably, it was caused by the lack of socialization of the journalism program. Based on the existing condition above, the analyst proposes a more comprehensive planning as the form of impersonal communication of SOLOPOS by holding “Solo Past is Solo Future” Brochure Competition. The analyst believes that through the writing brochure competition the SOLOPOS CSR program will be more successful.
