Pengembangan Kemampuan Menolong Diri Sendiri Melalui Metode Permainan Tradisional yang Menyenangkan Pada Anak Tunagrahita Kelas VI Semester II SLB-C YPSLB Surakarta Tahun Pelajaran 2008/2009

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan kemampuan menolong diri sendiri melalui metode permainan tradisional pada anak tunagrahita kelas VI semester II SLB-C YPSLB Surakarta tahun pelajaran 2008/2009. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yaitu penelitian yang dilakukan oleh guru di kelas tempat mengajar, dengan penekanan pada penyempurnaan atau peningkatan praktik dan proses dalam pembelajaran bina diri. Subyek penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa tunagrahita kelas VI semester II SLB-C YPSLB Surakarta tahun pelajaran 2008/2009 yang berjumlah 8 siswa. Teknik analisis data digunakan analisis deskriptif komparatif, artinya peristiwa/kejadian yang timbul dibandingkan kemudian dideskripsikan ke dalam suatu bentuk data penilaian yang berupa nilai. Dari prosentase dideskripsikan kearah kecenderungan tindakan guru dan reaksi serta hasil belajar siswa. Dari penelitian tindakan kelas yang telah dilakukan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan metode permainan tradisional dapat mengembangkan kemampuan menolong diri sendiri siswa Kelas VI Tuna Grahita SLB-C YPSLB Surakarta tahun pelajaran 2008/2009. The aim of this study is to the development of ability to help themselves by pleasing traditional game method on the mentally retarded class VI semester II SLB-C YPSLB Surakarta in the school year 2008/2009. The approach used in this study is Classroom Action Research (CAR) namely a study that is carried out by a teacher in the classroom where he or she teacher, by stressing on the perfectness or practice increase and process in teaching are’s self building. The subject of this study is all of the mentally retarded class VI semeser II SLB-C YPSLB Surakarta in the school year 2008/2009 that consists of 8 students. To analyze the data this study uses descriptive comparative technique. It means that events/happenings that appear are compared and then described into assesment data in the form of value. From the percentage the description tends toward the teacher’s action and reaction as well as the students’ studying achievement. From the classroom action research that has been carried out, it can be concluded that applying pleasing traditional game method can increase the ability to help one’s self on the mentally retarded class VI SLB-C YPSLB Surakarta in the school year 2008/2009.
